Funny! Considering I spent 10 years in the Amazon and all!

Would you survive in the wild?
Your Result: Yesiree!....

You could live in the wild if you wanted to! You know what to eat, do, and stay away from! You could get shelter, food, water fast and easy-and the right treatments to injuries, snake bites etc...You know the outdoors like the back of your hand!!

Wouldn't last 2 minutes!.....

Not to sure...

Most likely you'll survive....

Maybe........

No need to take the test, I wouldn't survive ten seconds :) Praise God you could and have!

My mom got a really high score...though, the only reason I can think of for that is the fact that she married an ape(JK JK)...but that's about it. LOL

I'm like Ginger. No need for me to take the test. I am thankful for all those of you who not only can but DO in the word and call of our Lord.

I got a hundred percent, but that was because I was lucky. There were four questions I was guessing. I would starve quickly because of the hunting thing. Sharpening sticks I can do. Hunting I can also do. CATCHING SOMETHING???? Ha! Building a fire??? Double Ha!

"Most likely you'll survive...."

Considering the writer's experience I humbly ask for some advice:

i) "3. Man, I'm starving! What should I do for food?" --> is it the berries and fruit?

ii) "5. Time to build a shelter. Not sure how long you might be here. Where do you build it?" --> Honestly, it's a dilemma. Near water sounds convenient, but there's mosquitoes and wild animals may come there as to drink...

iii) "6. That was a good meal of: rabbit. Where should i store it?" --> By the fire?

iv) 7. "You've been stranded in the woods for about a week now. what do you do to find a way out?" --> Follow the river until i find someone or a town or road?

Thanks!

Hi Rita,

I love question....
A crazy mountain guy is tracking
ou and he's got a gun. He lived in the mountains so long he went completly insane. How do you get away?

and one of the choices was....

run around in circles and freak out. That would be me. lol

Sounds like we need to ask Sarah Joy for the correct answers. I am still trying to figure out which ones I missed!

Sire; #3 I said, what ever animals eat, I know of some poisonous berries down here anyway.

#5 I picked, near the water. Thinking as a N Am an not worrying about malaria.

#6 by the fire?1?!

#7, Tree, then river.

Now, Sarah Joy can tell us what I missed!!!

I said go hunting. (Again, the only thing wild I've ever caught was those little blue belly lizards. Pickings would be mighty slim!)

And put your food in a tree downwind of you. If a bear wants it, he's going to get it and you don't want to be there when he does.

I have no idea how to make a fire without matches, though. Raw blue-belly anyone?

Sire; I am trying to figure you out. Your command of the English language and syntax makes me think, native English speaker, but I see you all over the Venezuelan blogs and you know too much about Venezuela....so, I cant quite "peg" you!

Sarah Joy: Thanks!!!

Thanks for your pieces of advice, it's appreciated.

JM:
I know Venezuela pretty well, but I am not Venezuelan.

I got a Yesiree, but those answers aren't what I was taught. Like the one where you got something to eat and now where do you put it? My answer would be to wrap it up tight then up it up high in a tree.(if I can climb the tree to look about myself for direction then I can do the same for my food) If you put it by a tree, I can tell you for sure it won't be there in the morning!LOL! My family lived in Canada in the "mountains"(not nearly as dramatic as the jungle for sure :o>) for 6yrs...I loved it! Of course, that's been about 21yrs ago so who knows...I'd probably kill over the first night! :o)

I had problems too. For one thing down here, if the meat is not smoked and kept near the fire, the insects would devour it overnight!
