A Quote, by Tozer

"We would all be better Christians and wiser students if we would remember this -God rarely uses periods. There is rarely a full stop in His dealing with us - it is more likely to be with the effect of a colon or a semi- colon. In most instances, what God does becomes a means towards something else that He is planning to do."
( Tozer, I Call it Heresy! )

The above quote has been proven so true in my life. I am ever mindful that I must needs remove myself and my human understanding of time and order and allow myself to be available to God to use as He will --when and where He wishes.

Great quote by Tozer. So true - rarely is there a "done deal" - always a "work in progress."

Four weddings?! Wow - both of my kids were married within 6 months of each other, so I can relate. Waiting to hear more, when you have a minute!

One wonderful thing (And there are so many wonderful things about which to sing His praises!) about our Lord is that He never quits on us--no matter how much we have let Him down due to our weakness.

So often in my own life, just when I've thought I cannot go on, He's given me a sign of His love in some little, personal way that has been His special message just for me.

Beautiful!

I like to think of the beautiful words of Rabbi Akiva- 'gam zu letova!', this is also for the good! Everything that G-d does if for our ultimate benefit.

This quote is so true! The Lord's time is not like ours. The hard part is to trust Him and his timing. In order to do this I have to STAY in His presence.
GOod post Rita.

I like Corrie ten Boom's tapestry analogy, about how all we see is the tangles, knots, trailing threads and jumping around colors. But soon enough, we will go Home and see the front of HIS Masterwork!
And Tozer was a very wise and insightful man.

It's true, but it's sometimes extremely hard to remember!
