UPDATE: After two days of tests, my dad is now home and recovering. He seems to have had a small blockage which they are treating with medications. He still has some follow up to do. Thank you for your prayers on our behalf.
My Father was admitted in to the hospital today. He is suffering from chest pains. He has had two heart surgeries already, the latest was in May. They will be doing more tests tomorrow, pray for him as well as my mom, as they deal with this.
Also, my husband just returned from S.C. a few hours ago. His step mom is still in the hospital there. We find it very hard to deal with leaving them in a few days with things as they are.
Praise the Lord, we do have family members here nearby to help them, but it is difficult to leave for another continent at such a time.
But the Lord knows all and we place our trust in Him!

So sorry to hear about all of that. I will be praying.
Prayers going out, JM. May God bless and keep your whole family, and give you all comfort in these troubled times.
Will certainly be praying! For all of your family members and for you all as you prepare for the move!
I can only imagine. It was hard enough for us to be 1,000 and 2,000 miles from our folks during illnesses. Being in another whole country must be even harder -- or getting ready to go to another country. I'll be praying. I'll send this on to Pastor, too.
I'll pray for your dad and your husband's step-mom. I hope they both get well.
Praying for you all...but especially for your dad.
Hugs!
Praying for your dad.
I'll put them both in my prayers. And hope that G-d will heal them soon.
In my heart and prayers for all three and you.
Praying here in NM.
I'm praying my guts out!
I understand better than you might realize. Praying! (for the folks AND for you!)
I read about your dad at Midnight Musings. I'm praying for him!

We will be praying for them as well as you. Helen
I'm so sorry to hear about this! I'll be praying for your dad and for you all too!
Oh Rita, goodness gracious! You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Life does often seem to happen this way and heaven only knows all the reasons.
Muy preocupada ... espero que las cosas mejoren Rita y te considero por el mal momento que estas pasando tu y los tuyos.
Oraremos... esperando lo mejor.
Un fuerte abrazo.
Praying of course!! Love you guys!!
And you're moving to paraguay in 3 DAYS?!?!?!? Where have i been??!?!? (well, ive been on tour all summer so really where i've been is a blur...)
Thank you for the update, I will continue praying!
Is it my imagination or does something burdensome nearly always come on a missionary family while they're getting ready to go, or right when they get to their field?
God will take care of you, your father and your family.
I'm a little late here, been on vacation......hope you're safely in Paraguay and all is well!
