The last couple of days the following lines of a poem written by the great missionary to India, Amy Carmichael, have been in my mind;
Think through me, thoughts of God
My Father, Quiet me,
Till in Thy Holy presence, hushed,

I think Thy thoughts with Thee.

"Be still, and know that I AM G*D." HE never left that place, we do, too often, and to our dysfunction!

That's a great reminder, Rita. I need to shut my mouth more often! :) Seriously, I should spend a bit more quiet time than I do. Most of my "quiet time" is when I'm asleep.

More than ever are we trying to be "quiet" & listen to what God is telling us. Thank you for the reminder. It was great to see you'd been to my page. When I first "found" you on my friend's (Hagermans on a MISSION) page, I read your blog page for hours & loved every minute! I enjoy reading about & learning from your experiences! Hopefully we'll have overseas "missions" in common in the near future!
I am back and I would love to get together with everyone. Can you call me Monday evening or Tuesday afternoon/evening? Jackie has my number. If I don´t hear from you, I will try to call. I hope I am not too late for a get together!
