I KNOW!! It's awesome! I'm still floating and had a blast at church last night showing photos! It was so good for Georgianne too, it seemed to really energize her!
We've really got to pray like never before and work to register more to vote republican!
Last week, one of my students of voting age attended the McCain-Palin rally here in Northern Virginia. My student didn't get to shake hands as far as I know. I'll find out more next week when the student gives a special report to the American Government class -- as to what it's like to attend a political rally.
That is incredible, he was at HQ where I volunteer on Saturday!!! Was your sister at the rally at the Tampa Convention Center? Ask her if she remembers when the person yelled "Drill, baby, drill!" That was my best friend, que es venezolana :)
Back before the Iowa Caucuses I was a Huckabee supporter, but I have friends who work for his campaign so I was invited to a pastors' meeting with him.
He had to cancel it due to a schedule conflict. The next day I was in a meeting and got a phone call. The caller ID showed a (202) area code phone number so I knew it was from Washington, D.C. I let it go to voicemail.
It was Senator McCain. He called to apologize for not being able to meet with me. Too funny. I screened his phone call! I recorded it so if he wins the election I'll put it on my blog and say I screened a phone call from the President of the United States!
Fantastic..I'm so happy for your sister! What excitement. I honestly couldn't imagine being anywhere with THAT many Republicans...like balm for the soul!
