The Bush Twins left a letter for the Obama daughters about how to grow up in the White House. NBC, upon discovering this letter, invited Jenna and Barbara Bush to read it aloud.
I found it very sweet and thoughtful for these two young adult ladies to think about the needs of the incoming President's children, Malia and Sasha.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!

Very nice!
BUSH TWINS ROCK!!!
How real, what integrity, what an encouragement to those who follow!!
What an example...
We notice the tears of those who were privy to air this......it thrilled our soul to see young ladies who rise above all that seems a detriment for our country, and offer GREAT advice for those who follow with BIG shoes to fill with grace and honor.....
I got goosebumps and almost cried. So sweet. How hard it must have been for them to hear horrible things about their Daddy. Glad they came through with a positive attitude.
SO sweet. What a thoughtful thing for them to do. It's amazing a man as horrible as their father could have raised such kind and thoughtful girls!!!! (she says tongue in cheek!)
Thanks for sharing this.
So sweet. I read part of that before, but it was sweet to hear THEM read it.
hu hmmph, very sweet and all but not a cartoon, try again.
That was so sweet. Thanks for sharing!
Nice!!!!!
Maybe I can blame it on being pregnant, but I totally cried! This was really neat.
Rumor has it, that Mrs. Obama is expecting....
That was a great letter/video.
That's really nice..thanks for posting that, JM.
very, very nice! I dont care what folks say about Mr. Bush, I have all kinds of respect for him and his family.
Cristina
how poignant!
thanks for sharing that!
That was a wonderful thing for these young ladies to do, and was far better hearing them read it than reading it myself.
I loved the pictures. Can you believe how young he looked when he was holding them in the hospital?
That's a beautiful letter. I think they're most salient point, that they as the children truly know their father the President far better than the public, is something we should all take to heart.
Obama's going to get smashed and trashed over the next 4 years, but what do we really know about Obama, the guy who loves his wife and kids and wants the best for them? And what do we really know about W, the guy who grinned like an idiot when his twins were born?
I'm sure that Obama had the same stupid grin when his first daughter arrived (I know I did), and I'm also sure that there's a huge gulf between Obama the family man ad Obama the politician.
Which one do we really want to target?
