The head of Paraguayan Intelligence was explaining what had happened. He explained that he had 'accidentally' landed his private plane illegally across the border in Argentina, by no fault of his own! The heavy North winds blew him off course and he became disoriented.
He also explained that, although his plane was filled to capacity with illegal, contraband cigarettes, headed to Argentina, he knew nothing of this cargo! He merely flies for the pure pleasure of flying and never even charges for any cargo he may transport!
And as to the fact that he also flew his private plane without a current Air Worthiness Certificate, well, that was simple oversight. He had not realized it had expired...months ago.
In other words...Oops! You got me!
You think that is funny, huh? Lest you think it only happens in third world countries, remember President Obama saying, in regards to his tax tainted appointee, Daschle,
"I think I screwed up," Obama said in an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper. "And, I take responsibility for it and we're going to make sure we fix it so it doesn't happen again."
Except, he did do it again...and again...and even again!

Sometimes i wonder how stupid politicians think we are. And after seeing them getting elected over and over again, I realize why they think they can get away with it.
