Iranians continue protests

Chavez backs Ahmadinejad in dispute.

Real Clear World
From Fausta
"We send a greeting to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iran't great president, to Ayatollah Ali Hamenei, and to the Iranian people. We ask the world to respect Iran because they are trying to undermine the Iranian revolution's strength."
Chávez then insisted,
"We ask the world for respect. Ahmadinejad's triumph is a victory in full order. They're trying to stain Ahmadinejad's victory, and by doing so they aim to weaken the government and the Islamic revolution. I know they won't be able to do it."

Hugo supporting Iran, what a shock! And Hussein O not against Iran, remember what i said, they're one and the same, only difference being, one's on the inside.

This is all so horrible. The cell phone calls and videos coming in are bone chilling. and our weak whimp of a President finally after 7 days said it was appalling. Then sort of half heartedly offered some speech that maybe showed a tad of support and encouragment to the protestors wanting their votes to count. And now the libs are claiming that the Iranian people took their cue from Obama's Cairo speech. That is what lit the fuse and encouraged them to express their wishes, or so they say.
