Cows on city street, not the same thing as goats in villages, for sure! years ago I was in Niamey, the capital of Niger in West Africa, and there were camels in the street.
Just checked Flickr.com and apparently they still have them in the city streets. Look at this!
I live near San Fransisco. You ought to see some of the animals on our streets. We subsidize them and if they are truly weird enough we sent them to congress. I'll trade.
In Iraq cows walk and graze the streets in villages and smallish towns. I always wondered how someone would find their cow, let alone know which cow is theirs in a town of a few thousand people.
