Five years ago today, in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, I gave birth to a blog!
I had no idea the way it would take me around the world via my readers. I never imagined I would produce something anyone who did not know me would bother reading. I have some long time readers who are now friends in the truest sense, even though we have never met face to face.

Congratulations on five years of blogging! That's impressive to me. I just finished 10 months, and even one weekly post has been challenging.

Congratulations. Long time reader, many time poster. I came across your blog slightly before Hugo Chavez cracked down on students during the RCTV protests around May of 2007 and been hooked ever since. :)
I was led to your blog by Susan(Penless writer) on October 19, 2007. You had written about your itenery on a trip back to the state in which you went from California to Mass and back all within a week...I told Susan then Only by the grace of God and his sustinance would anyone be able to do that...well I have read almost ever blog since then and have really enjoyed you adventure, and saddened by your utimate evection from Venz by Chavez..I pray that this new young guy who is challenging him wins and he is able to live thru the adversity. Thanks for shareing you life with me and for the Witness you and Clint put up for our lord.!!!! Don

Wow! Five years! Congrats!!! Well, let's see--I remember how I found you: Via Brenda's Blog, but I can't remember when! :) I think it was when you JUST moved to PY. I think I first found you through Susan Hutchen's blog, either when she linked to you or you commented there, and I realized you were a missionary supported by our church. I don't know how long that has been -- a few years, I know. Congratulations on five years of blogging!
Hi,I'm Hilary and I was exploring blogs scince I have just started my first today and your's is pretty cool.Interesting... the story in Paraguay/spirits. I always wonder what is true/what is not. I guess one just talks,communicate, express one's self etc. on a blog,thanks. I'll be looking forward to reading more of your stories.
