Strange Sights

1) In Argentina I saw a lot of bicyclist 'hitch a ride' from motorcyclists by holding on to the drivers shoulder. Scary!

2) Flor de Coco. This is a pod that has seeds inside of it which bloom this time of year. They have a nice aroma and everyone has them around as the smell is 'Christmasy' for them. Dry, seed pods...Christmas...I don't get it.

3) Tons of soldiers and cops out. A group of riot police downtown were sitting on a truck ready for the demonstration...they were asleep.

4) El Tractorazo. Farmers are protesting by riding tractors all around down town. Big, slow tractors.

5) The country is wearing red, white , and blue showing support for "Security and Jobs". Everywhere. Even had a salesgirl wearing the Paraguayan flag like a cape.

6) A man on a motorcycle wearing a hulk mask!

7) Kids celebrating summer vacation at Christmas.

8) Goats for sale at the intersection. For Christmas dinner!!!

9) An artificial Christmas tree put together upside down and decorated proudly in a lobby! It was shaped like an upside down triangle...with a star on top.

10) Prostitutes wearing Santa hats! ( Ok, we were a bit lost one night!)

Well of course the prostitutes wear the hats...

Goats for dinner(big hit here too, and that is one of our biggest reasons to dive into the goat raising business- I have never eaten goat---but huge market so close to the border)

I've heard about the upside down trees but never seen one. It's done that way on purpose....so you can gather MORE GIFTS under the tree.

nice and Christ like huh??

What sights. Goat for Christmas might not be too bad, I don't know how it would go with dressing though.lol I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas, no matter what part of the world you are in. love you, connie from Texas

Goat for dinner? Why not. It would feed a big family.

This week I saw:
1. A boy with green hair
2. A boy wearing a dress
3. Several girls leaving high school dressed like hookers
4. Two high school girls holding hands cozily
5. The media mostly ignoring the burning of an evangelical church in Alaska
6. Companies that make money on Christmas sales forbid clerks from saying Merry Christmas
7. The people who ran our economy into the ground being chosen to lead it to recovery

No goat for Christmas dinner but I think many Christians who voted for BHO may eat crow pretty soon.

We tried the BBQ goat once and Sarah and I were the only ones who would eat it.
