Nice collection, Jungle Mom. When do you expect to be in Paraguay?

I can't believe how much Abbie looks like me from that first prayer card! And seeing "Vernoy's Missionaries to Paraguay" really through me for a loop! So it's true huh?? I guess seeing it on a prayer card made is seem more real.

I love this, travel down memory lane. I am sure each photo has so much to share.

I loved being part of the vote to pick the most recent missionary card!
Hip hip hurray!

I find it to be rather bitter/sweet when I view photos of my sons at different stages of their lives, because on one hand it is sad to see them grow, but it is also it is a blessing to see them turn out so great. I bet you feel the same about your beautiful family.

I wish you all the best when you get to Paraguay.

You must have been horrible parents to abuse your kids as you did. They were raised missing the important stuff like ritalan, TV, rap music, planned parenthood seminars, etc.

I'll bet they even had to invent games and play with the locals. tsk tsk tsk.

Send me a few prayer cards please, P.O. Box 284, Cloverdale, CA 95425.
I can get you a couple of dozen phone numbers in CA if you are interested.

Such a wonderful discovery. the Vernoys.

WOW!! You answered the question.....How old is my prayer card on the fridge???? IT WAS 1994!!

I know I have seen you since then, but you have not changed ---or aged!!!

What a picture chronicle!!

Family history through prayer cards.. . an experience unique to missionaries. My kids were always horrified to go to a church and find old pictures of them posted in the fellowship hall. But it has helped them keep a sense of humor.

What a beautiful family from the inside out ! Can't believe how mature the girls are compared to the last time we saw them. Seeing your new prayer card with Paraguay is so exciting! i just don't know how i will manage leaving them this time - i will just need to be one with a missionary mind. it will be wonderful for them to serve with you and for them to have real live grandparents so close.

Helen, I am so excited for your trip! I remember being in Venezuela and wishing to show off my new baby to family so I am thrilled you all are going down!
yes, the prayer cards seems to make it more official doesn't it?
I guess the last time we saw each other was at the wedding!!!!
