Before commenting, any bleeding hearts for Bambi and co. should realize that if God didn't want us to eat them, He wouldn't have made them out of meat.
I was such a city MK - never did get myself really hungry for bushmeat. I left the roasted mystery meat to the boys.
Although in Monrovia, most of the bushmeat was of the monkey, large rodent and endangered duiker variety, so maybe fellow MK's can forgive me for not being TOO hungry for that sort of stuff!
Now, if we start talking real pineapple, real bananas, real oranges that aren't dyed neon orange - yeah, I'll be right there!
That was one nice sized game animal in that 2nd pic. Made me painfully remember that Brendan and I did not get our deer this year; and made me hungry too.

Meat is murder... Tasty, tasty murder.
There is a place for all of God's creatures... Right between the corn and mashed potatoes.

And all I have to do is go to the Supermarket. Thanks for the pictures. That smoked meat looks wonderful.
Actually Subvet, if God didn't want us to eat them He wouldn't have made them so tasty.

Wow, I didn't realize there were that many animals in the jungle! That's a lot of food!
Wow mouth watering stuff... good post for those that thought meat only came from their local supermarkets....
Oh, and I forgot to add. What an interesting life you lead!

I hear you about real bananas. And whoever saw a polished neon colored orange on a tree???? The more mottled the better!
What was the meat being butchered in the second pic. Do you know? Harrison was most curious! lol
