Just had to share !!!

I am in a hotel in Asuncion. There is a note on the back of the toilet that warns me not to flush paper, cigarettes or even 'yerba'!

What kind of Hotel are you in??!! :)

And if you should decide to ignore that advice and flush your yerba down the toilet, take care not to let the bombilla fall in as you are scooping it all out ;)

The entire concept makes me shudder! Why oh why do they even need such warnings!?

Better heed that warning! And I know of which I speak.

When we moved into our nice new apartment in Ramallah, Palestine, I was warned not to flush the toilet paper.

You've got to be kidding, I thought, and ignored the advice. It was a very high price to pay, trust me.

Just in case you want to read about the horrors, here's the link to the toilet paper tale, The Joy of Expat Housing:

Can't flush yerba? Who knew?

Maybe it's the ultimate water-saver toilet?

Maybe the leaves absorb water and increase in size, thus stopping the toilet!
Drink the mate---don't flush the leftovers!LOL
