A Personal Request
Wednesday I received a call from my sister letting me know that my mother, in Florida, had fallen. She broke her arm and also cut herself in the fall requiring many stitches. She is mending fine, but it will be difficult for her to be down with a broken arm during the Christmas season. Please pray for her to have as little pain as possible and for my father as he deals with caring for her and the house.

Sorry to hear about your mother. Falls are a horrible thing as people age. It is my hope that she will enjoy the holiday season in spite of her limitiations.
Why does wine improve with age and the human body decline with age? So many mysteries of life - so little time to discover their secrets.
Will pray!!
So sorry to hear this.

Sorry to hear your mom got hurt.
I am praying for her. Keep us updated.
I'd bet that your dad takes care of things, and of his bride, wonderfully. Your mom is in my thoughts and my own kind of prayers for a speedy, pain free recovery.
All the best,

Oh I know what your Mom is feeling. Prayers for gentle healing. This may serve to remind us all that Christmas is not a season, but a state of mind.
I narrowly escaped the same consequences of a fall on Thanksgiving morning ... sprained wrist only. I just sat on the floor crying and giving thanks that nothing was broken and we would get to eat the turkey I had in the oven.
Will do
