I'm a mutant!

"The current National Geographic magazine reports that less than 2 per cent of the world's population has natural red hair - created by a mutation in northern Europe thousand of years ago." (August 2007)

So where's my super power????

Most mutations are harmful, and result in reduced adaptability, leading to fewer progeny, a.k.a. children. As a result, most mutations die out among the population. That the redhead mutation has survived so long might indicate that it is a beneficial mutation. Like they say, better red than dead.
Redheads definitely have a behavioral advantage in Thugoslavia. You can be "Rojo Rojito" without buying any red-colored clothing.

"Most mutations are harmful": sounds like most geneticists aren't liberals, at least as regards their professional work. After all, a liberal would be more likely to view change as beneficial rather than harmful. Sounds as if the biological order of the universe is inherently conservative. Hmm...

I'd say you have a lot of super powers. You have to, to have accomplished what you have over the years.
