The Things I See..

The cabinets in the kitchen when we arrived...again, I cried! This is forty years of grime which had accumulated on every kitchen surface.

My husband and son in law attacked the cabinets with everything possible including chisels!

This is the finished result

I owe them!

How can anyone let that happen? I'm not the world's best housekeeper by any stretch, but still?!

Those guys deserve a medal.

That is amazing work. Did you need any paint or just a good "industrial" cleaning job by the fellas?

I trust you negotiated sufficient discount on your rent to compensate for your property improvement.

Then next year, your landlord may have the chutzpah to increase the rent due to the "improved condition of the property!"

I am reminded of an American innkeeper in Guatemala [former Peace Corps who married in-country] who once informed me that in training her staff, she had to inculcate in them the need to be cleaning some part of the premises when otherwise idle.
