My Poor Baby

Jewel made this Thanksgiving dinner in her dorm last night. A few kids did not get to go home for the holidays, mostly the MK's. (missionary kids) They got together and ate  Raman noodles, deli sandwiches, and Honey Buns last night.

I am SOOOOOO thankful that today  he Spanish Sunday School teacher's family has invited her over for a family meal... still, my poor baby!

((hugs)) She's gonna be ok. She sounds like one tough cookie. I know you are thinking of each other today.

I know what you´re going through! I think it´s harder for us, as mom´s to see them alone, than it is for them....(at least I hope so) :)

Well, look at this way. She has a nice place to live, and enough to eat! A lot of my kids friends, who are contemporaries of your daughter, can't say either of those things. She knows you are there if she needs you. It's hard to miss them, though. Mine couldn't come home for Thanksgiving and my wife and I have felt like something was missing all day.
