Admit it !

Sometimes blogging gets to be very intense! At times everything you see or hear is inspected for possible 'blogability'. You know who you are! Admit it ! You have thought about blogging on some pretty lame topics, considered blogging about down right embarrassing happenings...even the mundane can be a possible blog topic, if you have a picture to post with it! Right???

So, is this just me, or are you guilty on occasion as well ??? Or maybe you know someone who is like this!
Have you ever sat up in bed at night to jot down a thought you had about a possible post?

Stopped the car to take a picture of something for the express purpose of blogging about it?
Or worse, driven out of your way to take the picture?

Talked to someone on the phone for hours, someone you have never met, but knew all about them, via their blog?

You no longer fuss over inconveniences in life because now they are blogging material?

Been introduced by your screen name?

Had your husband referred to publicly as 'Jungle Mom's husband'?

Any of you care to share your blogging habits with us?
The first step is admitting it, right?

Yes, I have friends in my computer too. I call them and tell them "this is Gilbert" and they say "Who?".
I say... "Big Dad Gib"
"Oh yes, how you doing?"....

Mr and Mrs BigDadGib... now that would be funny... LOL

You have a great looking blog.

Ok, I'll admit it . . . I filter almost everything through the lens of my blog! I even listen to sermons thinking "Could I blog this?" and then I get wrapped up in them and never blog most of them. But the thought is there. There have been times I've wanted so bad to blog about something, but it would be embarrassing for someone I love, so I don't.

I've wished I had a camera on my cell phone when I have come across something out and about that would be good blogging fodder. :-)

You know one day I got really upset with reading some stuff in a Nascar magazine. So I blogged about it. I entitled the blog, "Ranting and Raving Friday (I think it was Friday.)! So now when I blog I want to blog more on things about God or blessings I've received and not blog about foolish stuff. Well needless to say I think the blog I get the most hits on is "Ranting and Raving Friday!" I wish people would read my blogs about God and not foolish stuff!!!

LOL Happymama, I can honestly say I haven't had mine referred to as Jungle Mom's husband either. Am I doing something wrong? hehehe

Yes, Rita, I can say that I've had a few of those moments myself.

And at other times, when you are in a blogging funk, you go do something else! LOL!
Like scraping vinyl sheet flooring off terrazzo...should try it sometime. Gives a whole new meaning to the word, "FUNK"!
I do, sometimes, travel the globe, via internet, to find a picture. Usually I just save the possibilities when I stumble over them.
BTW-I'm actually going to be away from my computer for hours today...having coffee with a real, live friend!
Oh, you missed out on the; or gone to stay with them for several days on vacation! I know of a couple of cases!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

Guilty as charged. Sometimes if Elena is having a huge meltdown I think to myself..."How can I make this seem funny for the blog??"
It's an addiction.

Tis a good thing your feller has a sense of humor. That "jungle mom's husband" thing should earn him BIG points.

I guess I am not addicted. The only blog problem I have now is feeling guilty when I have not posted for a while.

As a preacher I can always rant.

blogging.......a healthy addiction!

One drawback......coming upon a great idea for a post at 2am.

I used to carry around a mini tape recorder to tape thoughts on what to blog!
