Bare necessities...no I'm not going to launch into the song from the Jungle Book! :-) We're going to CAMP in a little over a week and the bare necessities will be a tent, a cot and blankets, a bowl, cup and spoon, and toilet paper!

I'm not looking forward to that aspect of it! Tho I'm looking forward to being out of the city and the fellowship with our Ukrainian friends!

Thank you for your prayers for my Papaw.

This is why I struggle with any in the US crying poverty. Most here have water, sewer, and power.

Wow...I can't even imagine. We truly have nothing to complain about. I feel truly blessed! Thanks for bringing me down to earth today! :)

It is too bad that their government can't bring some bare American necessities to them. Clean running water, electricity, and plumbing.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing. If more people would see pictures like this they would be thankful for what they have.

Rita,

Thats why I am collecting for our troops, and why I appreciate your donation so much. A lot of our guys don't get to live as nice as the Indian Accomodations you just showed when they are out on patrol, but instead sleep in holes they have dug into the ground.

It took a little while for it to sink in that CV was your hubby's name, or I would have said thanks sooner. I am terrible on names and did not place the last name on the PayPal receipt until this morning.

As I said in my blog - your donation for the Soldiers' care Package(s) was generous. Thanks very much, it will go to good use.

You know, I could live in that Indian Hut in my retirement. It would not be too bad for a year or two, maybe longer - but the wife and kids (young adults now) would not go for it. I have often dreamed of living in a shack out in the woods.

All the best,
GB

I had better quarters on LST's and LPH's while I was in the Marines. That's a bit too much minimalist for me.
