The Things I See

What is it?

A closer view.

Ant hills are everywhere!
(And, as I have said, so are cows!)

So true! You made a good shot of them.
A few years ago when my cousins from Canada were visiting here (they had never been here), we were on our way to the Iguazu Falls, and one of them thought those were grave hills! :)

Oh my goodness. I have never in my life seen an ant hill that large.
Where's my Raid?

Those ant hills are tiny compared to the ones I saw in Zimbabwe :)

I've seen some vicious fire ant infested fields before! Ones where can't walk without stepping on a hill. ... but I've NEVER seen hills that tall!!

yikes!

I don't think that Raid will do the job here. They need to go a lot stronger.

Oh man! I hope those ant hills are not near your house!!!

I hate ants. The ant hills get that big in some places I've been but never that big and that close together.

Those are some big ant hills.
Why not go out and begin kicking one over? Do those ants sting?
Are they "24s"?
Are they causing global warming?

We thought we had ant issues here in sunny Florida....NEVER seen an anthill that big here.....actually anywhere!

Do they mound near homes and come inside??

When it is going to rain here, we find them "marching" toware our doors occasionally.

EWWWW! That's a powerful lot of work for those industrious ants!

That is awful! I thought we had ants bad when we lived in Georgia.

They told us when we moved to Georgia that ants were the leading cause of deaths in calves.

When mama cow gives birth, the ants get on the calves and kill 'em.....sad huh!

Looks like that could be the case there too!

yikes!

We have a picture of one in Kenya that was as tall as me - Dave made me stand by it for comparison.
