Abigail Faith McCobb

Thanks to my son in law,
for being a mid wife (husband?)
and a photographer!

My newest grand daughter!

Jackie and Abbie.
Jackie used the hammock to push.
Just like the Ye'kwana women!

I have to say that my daughters each send their blessings too. They came running when I saw the pictures and are very impressed by the beautiful baby. Elisabeth keeps holding out her hands to the screen hoping to hold her.

Congratulations to you all! It's wonderful that even with the distance between you all, you could share the birth of your new granddaughter. She's gorgeous and looks very healthy. What does she weigh and how long is she? She looks very long on Elena's lap. ;)

Congratulations, Rita! I was wondering about the "hammock method" too.... We had a Venezuelan friend over last night just when Morgan and I were finding about Abbie. She totally didn't understand. After she found out that Jackie had grown up among the Ye'kwana, she said..."Oh...that explains it..." It was funny!

Can't wait to hear the story on Jackie's blog.
You have a wonderful daughter Rita. She must have a wonderful mom!
