Wish You All Could Come!

Una parrilla con la familia!!!
And what's a parrilla without guasacaca!

GUASACACA (Venezuelan steak sauce!)

1 Med. Onion chopped
2 green peppers chopped
2 ripe avocados
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 bunch of cilantro
1/2 bunch of parsley
1/3 cup of vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1. cup of olive oil
* Throw all these ingredients in your blender, EXCEPT the olive oil. Add the olive oil slowly as it is blending. Let the flavors blend for an hour. Serve with steak, sausage, chicken, potatos, yucca...

correfue, if you were close enough you could come on over...but you would have to bring your own tofu!

Correfuegos, I think JM is right.. maybe up north you cannot find yuca, but big baked potatoes go well with guasacaca! And your tofu also my dear.

Me, I stir some fresh tomatoes, diced, on the blended guasacaca. Just before serving.YUM!

Sounds delish. A parilla without guasacaca?? Wouldn't that be what's known as a Barbeque? Nothing like a parilla!
