I was hoping that you could comment on the issues that have caused you to have to leave Venezuela, now that you are out and safe. I am also wondering if you saw any new Islamic activity before you left? I spoke today with a missionary who was formerly in Afghanistan and is now in Spain, and he is headed to Venezuela later this month to a speaking engagement with evangelical pastors to train them in ministering to Muslims. From what I've read, Chavez is really catering to the Muslim community while really cracking down on the evangelical and Catholic community. I find that interesting in light of his relationship with Iran. Anyways, maybe you could shed some light on this subject?

Rubia, I will share what I have observed. Give me a few days to get it pulled together.
Somethings I would like to share but can not bring anyone else to "light" so to speak. The area we were in Bolivar state is very sensitive. Other areas of Venezuela are still unaware of the inroads there, by the Iranians. Although the Cuban invasion is more visible but most Venezuelans are not alarmed by that.

Thank you so much for sharing your wedding pics. Congratulations! I'm not sure if hubby was Marines or another military branch, but wasn't it nice of Our Lord to give you a soldier of some kind to protect you and family while you all were in the jungle.
And after reading your post about Venzuella(can't spell it),I am praying even more for your safety.
