Safe Travels

My husband and son, along with Naomy have arrived safely on the first leg of their travels. They did have to work their way through one demonstration, but it was not violent. Please keep them in prayers as my husband will be traveling across the country tomorrow as well as Saturday and Monday.

Right now, things can change from place to place very quickly and one is never sure where the next hot spot may be. I covet your prayers for all of us, but especially those traveling.

There are more marches and demonstrations planned for tomorrow as well.

Update: Naomy is now safely in flight to the USA. This is a relief for us. There is now a travelers advisory out by the US State Department warning Americans NOT to travel to Venezuela.

Leadership: As unrest over freedom's end grows in Venezuela, out comes Jimmy Carter's Center, expressing "concern." That's rich. Carter played a leading role in trashing the press there, making dictatorship possible.

Rita, I publish a monthly newsletter for our ladies' group, and in part of it I list some of the current prayer requests from missionary prayer letters (we do keep copies of the letters available for people to take, but sometimes e-mails or news comes in in between). Would it be all right if I put the url of your blog there so folks can keep up with the news, or would you rather keep it more private than that?

Always feel free to send prayer requests to myself or Pastor Bethea to pass along to folks at church.

Please do! BTW, the gifts are waiting us in Fla.
We do need prayer about our shipping which is stuck in Caracas and due to all the protests we have not been able to get all the paper work done. for that.
And of course, safety in these crazy days.

I'll keep all of you in my prayers. Life is so uncertain anywhere, but when you are in the midst of trouble, as your husband and son are, it is seems especially urgent to pray. Please keep us informed on your blog. Even when I do not comment, I read it.

Rose Mary: True, none of us have any guarantee if what tomorrow holds. Thanks for your prayers and for reading.

The Great tribulation is very close Rita. I see it plain as day.

Jimmy Carter needs to keep his mouth shut. He is nothing but a trouble maker. It's because of him is the reason Iran is the way it is.

I will keep you, Clint and the rest of your family in my prayers.

Carter was a joke and still a joke. Whatever he touched in his brief presidency has turned to a nightmare.

Be careful and stay safe.

Funny how Carter and Clinton show up at "peaceful areas" to encourage the demise of freedom and attian turmoil in their wake...

Is Carter backpeddaling now??/ Probably not, he's a democrat who does not foster democracy---

Wonder if he is interedted in leaving the USA to live under the Chavez regime??

I had missed all that about Venevision and Televen...que cobardes! Now they've left little Globovision...que cada dia esta mas grande!!!...to deal con el tirano. Now I know why it was such a big deal when periodistas from those two channels went over to Globo the other day...interesting. And Carter, with "friends" like that, who needs enemies?!

Pat:You're spot on about Clinton and Carter. Thanks.

Thanks for posting on my blog, JM. Thanks to that, and now I have found another very interesting blog that I am saving as one of my favorites. We know it is not the people of Venezuela who hate us. It is the dictator called Chavez.

Be assured that you all remain in prayers throughout these troubled times and uncertainties.

May you find strength but allow also to "keep your head down" too.
