Thanks To My Blogging Family

This is my Dad with my nephew after church.
My Dad is being kept comfortable and stable. They have decided to wait and do the surgery on Monday as long as he continues to remain stable.
I feel like this gives us a little more time to prepare ourselves for his surgery. Knowing my Dad, he is probably lamenting the fact that everyone is worried for him and that he wont be able to preach in his pulpit Easter Sunday.
I know the Lord has granted us this time and I for one am so glad that my husband will be here with us during the wait while my dad is in surgery.

So Thank you all and Thanks be to God who loves and cares for His children.

It appears that he thinks like a dad, you know, like this medical stuff is an annoyance that's best taken care of so that everyone can stop worrying and move on.

I will continue to pray for your Dad, and the rest of your family as well.

Jungle Mom, I know how hard it must be to not be able to be with your Mom and Dad at this time. I am so glad you will not be alone, now listen to that, I know better , we are never alone as children of the Heavenly Father, He will never leave us or forsake us. I wish I could be there to give you a hug. You are in our thoughts. God bless you and keep you. connie

Hi~Greetings from Yahweh's Retreat!

I really appreciate the comment today. That was a story I had heard so many times, but never really "got it" (the promise part).

I am grateful to know that Jesus is always there and He will calm your storm. You, your dad, and your missionary work will be in my prayers.

I am not religious in the way you are, but I still pray in my own way. Your dad is in my prayers. Hopefully he will have a complete and speedy recovery.

All the best,
Glenn B

Like many of our soldiers all over the globe we here can all only be with our families, loved ones, and friends through the web. Yet here we are to support each other regardless of our geographical location. I know many of you wish you could be there but still, you are there.

Rita,

As I told Pam, I haven’t been online in a few days, so I am just seeing this prayer request. Please know your sweet dad and all of you will be in my prayers. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you, as you are so far away but we know God is in control. Will be praying for you all and looking for a good report after surgery.

Big Hugs, Lyndy
